Pizza Night! 🍕
Friday night is pizza night at the Johnson house and it's become an important tradition to help us mark and celebrate the end of another week.
I enjoy getting up Friday mornings to make the dough and look forward to starting the sauce toward the end of the workday. But I most anticipate firing up the oven and cooking a couple pizzas for the family. The kids have come to enjoy the evening and even say their favorite food is my pizza.
For fun, here's a Jumprope I made of my sauce recipe.

Pour 28oz can of San Marzano tomatoes in pot and crush with you hand 🍅

Add a few sliced leaves of fresh basil 🌿

Cook over medium heat for 45 minutes

Use masher to further crush stewed tomatoes

Add salt and oregano

Add a generous pour of olive oil

Remove from heat a let cool a bit before using
